Yes, I think student run business can be a big
success. People don't mind buying things from
students especially if they are doing it for the
charity. Students are energetic and can work
harder. Their minds are fresh and they can think
of many new ideas regarding marketing and sales
of their product. Students except ideas easily and
are always ready to try them out. Students are
innovated and come up with new ideas and the
latest designs. If they need to learn something
more about their products they do so willingly.

Great comment. I agree that students, can, if they try, come up with the best new ideas. I look forward to the great new ideas and designs from my students, including YOU.

I think students could also be successful in doing business. First, they are very energetic since they didn't do this before and they might be hardworking. moreover, they could apply what they just learned in school which might be useful. In addition, people may be more likely to buy their product as they might think thats interestins. So i think students could be successful in doing real business.

Student-run business can be a great success. Especially when students start it for the benefit of the environment and helping others like the charity. Students are creative and have more imaginative ideas. So i don't see why students can't be successful in running a business.

Yes, I think that if students run a business it can be successful. Because they put all their thoughts and ideas in it. They have great imagination which will help in making or creating new products. and also it is mainly for their experiences and to help the charity.

I truely agree that young people are usually the ones to come up with the best new ideas. That's why I work with all of you. Because I know it will make me a better person. I hope everyone will consider the charity idea as Jihad mentioned. That will really set us apart. They will see young foreigners running a business and doing it for the good of the Earth, not just for profit.

Student-run business can be, and are great, a success. Although the students might be inexperienced nd not exposed to the outside world. The ideas which come out of thier heads are fresh, realistic, imaginative and creative. I think if we do our project for charity, especially a Chinese one, it'll attract more ppl since we are foreign teenage kids, doing something to give bak to the chinese community.
It'll also be good for us doing the project, because after we are done with it, we will have the experience which will give us an edge in the future. -

I think Studeng-run business can be a big success. The reason I said that is,the biggest different between students and adults is ages.Students are younger. That they do the business can look at the business that the people did before them. And also they are energetic so that they wont give up as long as they fail.To be successful is keep going,
don't give up! -

Student run businesses can be considered like other businesses run by adults and is also easy to fail and easy to success. It depends on what kind of management and students are there. Yet differences with student run and adult run businesses are that student run businesses don't directly aim for profit for themselves, but things like experience and effort. So if the business's sucess is determined by the goal of the business, then it will be a lot easier for students to achieve success since they don't need to worry about profit and marketing.

Good points everybody.
Rahul mentioned that local people will likely be even more impressed by foreign young people helping local people. I agree.
Derek is right that the lack of "real" pressure might make it much easier for students. If they loose, so what?
Nana is right as well... never give up! -
